Down Mexico way

ICON VALLARTA, the most spectacular beachfront luxury project of condominiums in the shores of Puerto Vallarta, was officially inaugurated tonight, counting with the presence of Philippe Starck, the world-renowned designer, Creative Director of Yoo by Philippe Starck. The Cut of the Ribbon ceremony was presided by Jorge Pérez, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Related Group of Miami, Carlos Rosso, Executive Vice-President of Related International, Carlos Ancira, Founder of Grupo Chartwell, , Bernardo Fort-Brescia, Founder of Arquitectonica and as guests of honor the Mayor of the city of Puerto Vallarta, Salvador González Reséndiz, and Rafael Yerena, Congressman of the State of Jalisco.



The construction of ICON VALLARTA started in 2007, and today, the project is totally finished.  The owners of these exceptional condominiums are ready to take possession of their apartments. Almost all of them have been sold. To celebrate the occasion, the developers invited all the lucky owners with a group of celebrities from all around the world to enjoy a series of cultural and social events. 
From 7 p.m., all the guests headed to downtown Puerto Vallarta, to be present at a ceremony where Philippe Starck was named Cultural Ambassador of Puerto Vallarta, by the Mayor of Puerto Vallarta Salvador González Resendiz, who during the ceremony handed over the Keys of the City of Puerto Vallarta



Immediately afterwards, Mr. Starck received the Diploma from the School of Architecture, and the Diploma from the School of Design, from the Dean of the prestigious Mexican Universidad Anáhuac, Bernardo Gómez-Pimienta. The celebration culminated with a mariachi party, full of orange colored candy floss and balloons.

Later on, the guests went back to ICON VALLARTA where they remained dazzled with its splendor. After the cutting of the ribbon ceremony, the guests went on to enjoy  the ICON VALLARTA Campari Fashion Show II, presenting a special collection of bathing suits from the mexican fashion designer Alvaro Iñiguez and the beautiful models from Citro Modelos. The party continued with a special concert offered by Grupo Arcano, an original mix of classical and techno music. Joining the continuous celebrations, the prestigious publication AD Mexico feasted its 10^th anniversary.



During all the events, splendid cocktails were offered by Skyy Vodka. All the guests enjoyed an incredible night by the sea, discovering the spectacular spaces of ICON VALLARTA, tasting in advance the amazing experience that will soon become a reality to the satisfied owners of this project, unique in Latin America.
