With over 30 projects in 24 countries, more people around the world are experiencing the unique yoo way of living. But as yoo expands internationally, it doesn’t necessarily mean the size of its projects has to also.
For yoo it’s never a question of size – but always a question of design. Can our design add value to a development, big or small? The answer is yes, which is why yoo’s designs can be seen in boutique projects under 30 units to grand scale designs over 1,000.
iLiv@Grange, Singapore
As yoo enters Singapore for the first time in our 10-year history, we’re scaling down for iLiv@Grange. Featuring 30 luxury units, this is Singapore’s first designer residences and an opportunity for yoo to make an impression.
The 16-floor building by developer Heeton is itself a statement – with the curvaceous façade inspired by the shape of a cala lily.
Set behind 5.8m-high traditional red doors, iLiv@Grange will be located near Singapore’s most exclusive street, Orchard Road. It will offer some of Singapore’s most luxurious facilities, with unique yoo inspired by Starck common areas, including an entertainment pavilion where residents can wine and dine.
Residents have access to a therapeutic pool, dry and wet lounges, and sculpted park. Penthouse owners of the top two stories will have private roof terraces and outdoor pools – ideal for night swimming.
The development will feature two styles from the yoo inspired by Starck palette:Classic: refined and sleek with strong colour palettes and dark wood finishes, andNature: soft, textured spaces with white oak floors and light fabrics.
Icon Brickell
On the other end of the size spectrum is Icon Brickell. Spread over 10 acres, Icon Brickell’s three majestic towers hold 1,871 residential units and rise up to 57 storeys over the heart of the city – this is yoo’s biggest interior design to date.
The size of the resort, which includes the Viceroy Hotel, two bayside restaurants and a spa, called for interiors on a gigantic scale.
For inspiration, yoo inspired by Starck looked to South America. The multi-level entrance area includes 100 columns modelled after the Maoi structures of Easter Island in the South Pacific. Each column is unique in size, shape and finish and is 22ft-tall.
For interiors, yoo inspired by Starck’s inimitable style adds French classic and Italian culture styles, with the breathtaking common areas that yoo has become renowned for.
So whether it’s 30 units or 1,030, our collaborative approach to design doesn’t change – we’ll always pay attention to the detail.
When yoo’s designs concept exteriors, we work from the inside out. And if our fantastic team of interior designers are on the case, we’ll ensure the flow of the building is a stunning integration of exterior landscape and interior furnishings.
